Thanks to the efforts of hundreds of volunteers and a few professional herpetologists, the Atlas presents what we know about the distribution and relative abundance of reptiles and amphibians in the state. We’re also documenting and presenting natural history information, calling times, and relative sizes. The relative abundance and relative distribution information has greatly helped us prioritize and undertake conservation efforts. Your continuing contributions matter. Your sightings, recordings, and photographic documentation allow us to continue to update and improve the Atlas.
